The more genteel Eastbourne boasts a pier and a marina from where a boat trip gives a different perspective to viewing the white cliffs and iconic Beachy Head. Plumpton races, Sheffield Park House, The South of England Showground and The Bluebell Steam Railway also make for a great day out.
